Susan & Shawn approached us to help them create a unique identity that accurately conveyed the special level of service they offered -- in a business category where these services are often considered a commodity.

Challenge
There are few professions that offer as little flexibility as those in real estate. Nearly all agents are friendly, locally knowledgeable and backed by a well known professional organizations. Thus, most of what they do is standardized and regulated by the organization. Standing out, especially in a manner that appropriately and authentically represents the service they provide, could be likened to
marketing air.

Solution
We created a look and feel that emphasized the friendly but savvy personalities that Susan and Shawn had. Susan and Shawn were each an experienced Silicon Valley executive-turned-mother-turned-realtor. Since most realtors are picked by women, graphic elements and messages were developed that would resonate with those target customers most interested in comfort and
personal attention.

The message strategy and graphic design was crafted for flexibility across stationary, brochures, print and online ads, and electronic media including their website and email templates. Formats were designed to easily accommodate frequently changing images and text without requiring the services of expensive design or marketing professionals.

The suite of materials was also designed to accommodate evolution over time as their needs and the marketplace changed. In spite of that, the program is being used today -- years later – are largely unchanged since it was launched in 2004.

Susan & Shawn have out-produced 95% of their fellow regional realtors every year since 2004.
