Wine Country Party & Events

Wine Country Party & Events had recently been purchased by a smart and sophisticated couple from Silicon Valley who wanted to reinvigorate every aspect of the business, especially it’s marketing programs.

Challenge
The business was based on three core assets: an experienced party planning staff, a warehouse filled with more than 10,000 rental items, and a fleet of trucks that allowed for efficient management and delivery of the inventory. Unfortunately, They had a mixed reputation in each operating area and a tired inventory that didn’t inspire the local corporate, hotel, wedding and winery event planners whom were their most profitable customers.

Solution
We developed a brand strategy and story that both, represented the new owners’ innovative ideas, and emphasized the idea of fun usually associated with parties and events. We’d express their brand story with a chic and sophisticated style reminiscent of high end wine country and contemporary Italian-style art.

A simple monochrome logo was designed to be easily reproduced across all media, even etched and embroidered products. It’s simplicity allowed the other graphics, and products to shine whenever present.

WCP&E’s website, print catalogs and reference guides were redesigned from scratch to combine new photos of rental products with helpful event planning information and tips. The goal was to reduce planning uncertainty while simplifying the process of designing and budgeting for an event —thus greatly differentiating WCP&E from it’s local and regional competitors.

Ultimately, we developed a brand strategy, website and planning guide strategy, then designed and produced: website, email marketing materials, catalogs, resource guides, business forms, signage, vehicle graphics, advertising, uniforms, and media presentations.

WCP&E was able to successfully revamp their brand strategy, and often times exceeded customers’ expectations. As a result, they’ve grown during the recession, while competitors have down-sized or gone out of business.
